Our Story

How it all started...

Anna First Baptist Church in Anna, Illinois, was established on January 15, 1859. The founding pastor was Rev. H. S. Cohn. Over the years, the church has been a cornerstone of the community, providing spiritual guidance and support to its members. Today, under the leadership of Senior Pastor Lupé Lopez, the church continues its mission of fostering faith and service.

On Mission ...

Our mission project in Santiago Papasquiaro, Durango, Mexico is dedicated to empowering a local church,  by addressing key needs, equipping ministry teams, and reaching the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We work closely with local leaders and residents to identify challenges and create tailored initiatives that foster self-sufficiency and long-term growth. Through community engagement, capacity-building workshops, and practical infrastructure projects, our goal is to enhance quality of life while respecting and preserving the rich cultural heritage of the region.

Mission Statement ...

We exist to be used by God as instruments of His grace and love, reaching out to the lost in our community and beyond. Guided by His calling, we strive to share the transformative message of hope and salvation, empower lives through compassionate service, and build lasting relationships that reflect His mercy.
