Pastor Lupé Lopez is the Senior Pastor of Anna First Baptist Church, bringing a deep passion for ministry and a commitment to biblical teaching. A graduate of Saint Louis Christian College and an alumnus of various religious universities, he has dedicated his life to preaching the Gospel, equipping disciples, and fostering a Christ-centered community. With a heart for missions and evangelism, Pastor Lopez continues to lead with wisdom, compassion, and an unwavering devotion to God's calling.

Sharon Farris

Church Clerk

Sharon is our dedicated Church Secretary. She handles all of the Church business matters and scheduling. She has been the Church's secretary for a number of years and is very bright, and creative. She keeps herself busy preparing all scheduled events and meetings. 

Cissi Cuthbertson

Sunday School Director

Cissi has a wealth of literary experience serving as Editor at times for various publications. She is a welcomed edition to our leadership team and is an excellent and studious Sunday School Teacher. Currently holding Women's Sunday School Classes.

Luciano Lopez

Deacon

Welcome to our newest Deacon. Elected October 8th, 2023. Luciano is Bi-Lingual speaking both English & Spanish. Luciano's Christian testimony is characterized by his unwavering trust in God's plan for his life. He has faced trials and tribulations, but through it all, his faith has remained steadfast. His commitment to serving others and sharing the message of salvation has touched the lives of many, inspiring them to seek a deeper relationship with God. He and his wife Brittany Ranae have four children.

Deacon

Dale is a lifetime member of Anna First. Serving as a Deacon for many years, he brings experience and history to the leadership team. He and his wife Jean continue to serve the church in every capacity requested. 

Shirley Ray

Children's Church Director

For over six decades, Shirley Ray has faithfully dedicated her life to teaching and shaping young hearts for Christ. With a passion for sharing God’s love with children, she has been a guiding light in children’s church, helping generations of young believers grow in their faith. Shirley’s commitment to biblical teaching, creative storytelling, and heartfelt mentorship has left a lasting impact on countless lives.
Her journey in ministry began with a simple yet profound calling—to ensure that every child who walked through the church doors felt loved, valued, and nurtured in their relationship with Jesus. Over the years, she has taught with unwavering dedication, using songs, stories, and engaging lessons to make the gospel come alive. Through her wisdom and experience, she has mentored both children and fellow teachers, inspiring others to carry on the mission of reaching young hearts for Christ.
As we celebrate Shirley Ray’s incredible 60 years of service, we honor not only her longevity in ministry but also the deep, personal investment she has made in each child’s spiritual journey. Her faithfulness is a testimony to God’s work through one willing servant, and her legacy will continue to bear fruit for generations to come.
